0282 CIC

0282 CIC is a non-profit organisation that helps facilitate projects focused on creativity, community, & wellbeing. Named after the traditional dialling code in the Burnley, Nelson & Colne area of Lancashire, we have developed various art & wellbeing based community projects for approximately 10 years before deciding to create a formal CIC and associated bank account. 0282 Directors have professional backgrounds in arts development, community advocacy IMHA and Care Act support, and volunteer co-ordination. Certain aspects of our work are geared towards supporting people towards personal empowerment, and ideally develop emotional resilience and help increase sustainable independence for themselves, their families and their wider communities.
